yeah it seems like if you tell anyone you do comptuer sciences they think your super smart.

At my school the first thing they did was teach us procedural C and then we learned all about objected oriented C++ and Java. We also learn all about computer hardware, in one of my classes we actually built a 4-bit computer with various logic gates (and, or, nand, nor, xor all that). After we learn programming basics and basic data structs we get into the theoretical stuff. Its a good method because we have a great understanding of everything and we can build up on that.

After all the programming basics we take advanced data structure classes, alorithm analysis and design, language design, compiler design (which we make out own basic language and compiller for it), software testing procedures, database classes. The whole mess.

In one of our classes we used prolog, Amzi!, and WITlog (a language designed by a former student) to understand how languages actually work. Lots of fun.

Hey guys. I was just wondering how you get your sig to have your mine production in it, and also, why more of our members are not on that chart. We could so easily have the top production. I also like the fact that I produce a ton based on how low ranked I am compared to some of ou guys :-). Keep up the good work gents, and gals.

Thanks man. I think I got it, but I registered under the covenant banner. I can change that later too, but for some reason, after I put all my information in, it wont show anything for my per hour/per day/per week totals (even with two users for the graph). BTW, according to the production HOF, I alread produce mor than two of the members of the Covenant . This amuses me becaus I am 150k points behind all of them.

Woohoo..someone actually commented on my application :-) It said maybe a week, but here's hoping it wont be that long *crosses fingers*. By the way, great production, stroke it!

Forgot to mention..I am a full time student studying engineering. It a lot of work, but I dont find it to be too hard. Other than that, I play a ton of sports, chess, and try to do the bet I can at whatever it is I am doing at the moment.

just noticed this thread today, when I saw Candy had posted, I am a freshman in college looking to become a history teacher. so I am taking alot of writing and history classes atm.

How do you like being a teacher candy?

Its really great, I love it. However, it can be very very tiring and the kids can be extremely testing! I guess my experience would be very different from yours as I teach in Secondary School in England.

I plan on teaching high school. and since i was a devil incarnate in high school, i am expecting some hell as payback for the bad little student I was

Btw, I have started to do my traineeship in a engineering company that projects oil platforms, which have a patnership with the better company to work in Brazil - Chemtech - in a project to Petrobras (brazilians biggest company), so now I am working in it for a while and I am very happy!!!! ^^
The salary its very good too comparing with the other traineeships ^^
